Meet the counselors
our School Counseling team
Mr. Bauer grew up in Baltimore County. He graduated from Mount Saint Mary's University with a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science, and received his Master's Degree in School Counseling from McDaniel College. This is Mr. Bauer's 10th year at Meade Middle School. In his spare time, Mr. Bauer enjoys watching ice hockey, hanging out with his dogs, and traveling.
Mrs. Shaw was born and raised in Catonsville, MD. She graduated from Washington College with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and received her Master's degree in School Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. This is Ms. Shaw's 8th year at Meade Middle and she loves being a Meade Middle Bulldog! She loves to bake, hang out with her cat, and spend time with her family.
Ms. Rivera is in her third year at Meade Middle. She enjoys salsa dancing, kayaking, and bike riding with her family.
