All PVA Design & Production students in Years 1, 2, and 3 are required to be enrolled in the weekly D&P Lab and to accrue a minimum number of hours in mentored instruction by the end of the 2021-2022 school year. This is in conjunction with GCC (grade 9, mandatory), Applied Arts Classes (optional) and Projects (optional).
Design & Production student/mentor pairings as well as lab location (Annapolis HS or Studio 39) will be matched by Mrs. Rothschild. Lab is on Thursdays during the Extended Day timeframe. In addition to the lab time, Mrs. Rothschild will also pair students with projects across the year. Hours spend in those projects also go toward the D&P students Extended Day Requirement. Students should be able to meet 90 hours within the D&P Lab program alone, though we do recommend students explore other D&P Applied Arts offerings as well.
The Design & Production Lab Program is managed by Mrs. Lian Rothschild
