The closing of the park continues. 73 of 73 households have met with Trish Smith, Relocation Advisory Agent. All but one of the appraisals have been completed.

60 owner-occupants of 60 mobile homes have relocated. 5 additional individuals living with owners of mobile homes chose to establish their own residence when leaving the park. Twenty one of the fifty nine households have remained in Williamstown. Ten trailers with valid occupancy permits remain occupied. All families have identified their future housing. Six of the ten hope for placement at Highland Woods, scheduled to open in early 2016. One family is committed to moving to Pines Lodge Park. One family is moving to Stephenstown. One family has signed an apartment lease in Pittsfield. One family has relocated to a nursing home facility.

Two tenants of the apartment building relocated out of town. The apartment building has been demolished and removed from the property.

Determinations of Benefits totaling $1,344,172.71 have been approved by Trish Smith for 70 residents. We have paid out $1,261,922.71 to 67 residents as of January 31, 2016.

The Town maintains ownership of 1 mobile homes.

Eighty nine trailers have been removed at a cost of $336,443.20. Asbestos remediation will be completed on the mobile homes as we acquire them. We have sold twenty one trailers, one truck and several awnings for a total of $9990. Two mobile homes were sold privately by their owners at no cost to the town.

Utilities, pads, and driveways have been removed from 214 of 225 lots. All roadways remain intact for tenant access and project purposes for the present time. The pool, rec hall and apartment building have been removed. The on-site concrete will start to be crushed this coming week.

We have submitted reimbursement requests to MEMA totaling $1,562,545.07 including Request #9 dated 10-22-15 for $60,533.91. We have received $1,562,545.07.
