Request for Proposals for CoC recommendation to be a State of Illinois ESG Grantee published. Prospective grantees must serve Will, Kendall or Grundy Counties. A completed proposal form must be sent by email to joconnor@wcccc.net by April 8, 2022 at 5:00pm for organizations interested in applying. We expect the total amount available to be between $350,000 and $375,000 with a minimum grant amount of $25,000.

The Will County Continuum of Care will be submitting funding recommendations to the Illinois Department of Human Services for the Emergency Solutions Grant Covid-19 (ESG-CV). ESG-CV funds are to be used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID19) among individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance; and to support additional homeless assistance and homelessness prevention activities to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19. The Will County CoC will be accepting email submissions to joconnor@wcccc.net up until the close of business on July 28th 2020.

The Will County CoC Board presents to its members a slate of nominees for open board positions, vetted and approved by the CoC Board on January 27, 2020.

The recommendation is to accept the nominees below to serve in the corresponding board seats.

2019

November 4, 2019

The Will County Continuum of Care is currently seeking candidates to fill two CoC Board positions. Each position’s term will begin January 27, 2020 and end December 31, 2020.

Below are the two openings:

  • Open Seat- key stakeholders such as non-HUD funded providers, faith based community providers, housing developers, landlords, employers or others, representative from public agencies, representatives from state agencies or other major systems addressing physical or mental health care, jail/corrections, substance abuse, child welfare or other systems essential for address homelessness, service providers, private funders and/or at large members .

  • Grundy County Region Representative – a member who specifically represents the Grundy County Region

The Will County Continuum of Care is announcing important additions to its local Ranking and Selection Process for Continuum of Care(CoC) Program funding. Beginning in the FY2019 CoC Program Competition, the Will County CoC will require agencies interested in applying for these funds to submit a letter of intent. Also, the Chief Officer/ Executive Director of the interested agency must attend a Ranking Panel Session. Please, read the entire announcement for full details. The Letter of Intent must be submitted to Merridith Montgomery no later than 5:00PM on Wednesday May 29, 2019 via e-mail at mmontgomery@wcccc.net
