During WhatsApp discussions for the Learn Telugu Class, learners ask how to say something in a particular context. They are helped with the words, sentences and questions. They are given practice to repeat the same and learn to speak naturally in a real life content. Here are a couple of sample audios which provide samples of the type of questions and responses discussed.
Reading short stories in Telugu, watching Telugu programmes on Youtube and TV, listening to Telugu music, reading Telugu newspapers and magazines are some of the ways you can develop your competence in Telugu.
When you watch Telugu plays or films, pause and try to repeat the dialogues with the correct intonation. Have a conversation with yourself in Telugu and gain confidence to use the language with others. Talk to children to begin with to gain confidence. The more you practise without worrying about the mistakes the faster you will be able to learn.
To learn a language you should start with three things. What are they? Listen and understand.
1. Learn to read Telugu letters and words.
2. Learn to write Telugu letters.
