Once a file has been successfully loaded the data will be displayed on the main window on a grid.

Toolbar

New will create a new file via the new file dialog Open will take you to the open file dialog. Save will open the save file dialog and View files will show a drop down. This will allow you to open the last source or saved file in its raw form. Then you have the history option, see this section for more details.

Next is the current files format, pretty self explanatory.

Now you have the warnings section of the toolbar. If a row has warnings a small warning triangle will appear to the left of that row. When this row is selected various warning toolbar buttons will be enabled. The first button Clear Current Warnings will remove all warnings associated with the selected row. Previous and Next Warning will navigate up and down the data between rows with warnings on. Clear All Warnings will remove all warnings for the entire file. An explanation of all the warnings can be found here.

The following section is the action buttons. There is a separate page explaining each of these on the main menu of this documentation.

Finally we have the Random Data Generator this also has its own section here.

Main view

The main area of the window is broken into two halfs. The top half contains the data grid with your data displayed. You can navigate this with the mouse or keyboard. Double-clicking a cell will allow you to edit the contents. Right-clicking a cell will popup the context menu. This will give you easy access to the action items.

Clicking on the grid header will popup the sort action pre-populating the sort dialog with the selected columns name. See the Sort action section for more details.

Below this is a tabbed section. The Warnings tab will show you the warnings for the active row and the Inspector gives you a character by character breakdown of the contents in the active cell.

At the bottom is the status bar. This holds the last system message to the left and the current grid position on the right. You will also see a count of warnings if any are present.
