The Early Childhood Special Education Program at MN State University, Mankato (MNSU, Mankato) is part of the department of special eduction and is one of four other graduate teacher licensure programs offered. MNSU, Mankato offers courses both at the Mankato campus and in the Twin Cities at the Edina campus.

Credits: 18 (ECSE Specific Courses) + 11 (required special education courses) + 7 (pre-requisite special education courses) + 12 (for initial licensure students)
- If a student is seeking a masters then + 7 (M.Ed. Thesis/Project)- need a total of at least 34 credits for a masters
Average Months to Finish: @29 months (initial licensure) or @ 18 months (if holding an existing MN teaching license)
