Ann Arbor Summer Festival Social

The Ann Arbor Summer Festival is an annual event, occurring June 12 - July 5 this year, that includes indoor and outdoor social and cultural activities. Visit the Festival website to learn more. We invite you to join us for a NECTAR Social at the Festival Sunday evening, June 14. This will be a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues, as well as to take part in a bit of Ann Arbor culture.

Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will occur Monday evening, June 15 at the Michigan Union. More details to come. Visit the Union website to learn more about its history.

Detroit Bus Tour

Eric Dueweke, Professor of Urban Planning at University of Michigan and Detroit native, will lead a bus tour of Detroit for conference participants interested in learning more about both the past disinvestment and exciting developments occurring in the city. The bus will leave at 1.30 pm on Tuesday, June 16 and make a stop on the return at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport by 7 pm before returning to Ann Arbor by 8 pm.

MCity Tour

The MCity tour will provide an opportunity for conference participants to visit the MCity Test Facility at the Mobility Transformation Center (MTC) at University of Michigan. The 32 acre simulated urban environment will serve as a test facility for automated vehicles. The tour will occur at 1.30 pm on Tuesday, June 16 (simultaneous to the Detroit Bus Tour).
