If you are arriving early to the conference, we encourage you to explore Ann Arbor. Here are a few enjoyable sights and activities:
Farmer's Market
The Farmer's Market occurs in the Historic Kerrytown District every Saturday. Wander through the market, try some local snacks, and stop for coffee at one of the nearby cafes.
Downtown Ann Arbor
The Kerrytown District (located here) and downtown Ann Arbor boast numerous shops, restaurants, and cafes. Downtown is located on Main Street between Huron and William Streets, Liberty Street between Main and State Streets, and State Street between Liberty Street and South University Ave.
UMMA
The University of Michigan Museum of Art contains a variety of paintings, sculptures, and photography from diverse time periods and regions. It is located at 525 South State Street.
University of Michigan Nichols Arboretum
Walk through the extensive park and gardens of the Nichols Arboretum. The peonies are just beginning to bloom! The Arboretum is located here, near the University campus.
Dining
The Ann Arbor Visitors Bureau contains an extensive list of dining options. Be sure to consider Ann Arbor's local breweries and variety of dining options.
