2021 Updates Academics Master List
This master list above has information on field schools, grad schools, volunteer opportunities, internships and jobs, and ways to get more involved in anthropology on a broader scale. Please ensure that all field schools are active and running at the time that you apply.
SCHOOL RECOMMENDATIONS:
Did you know the UofA runs its own field school? The Institute of Prairie and Indigenous Archaeology (or IPIA) run by Dr. Kisha Supernant offers a chance for students to learn about Indigenous Archaeology right in their own backyard! Typically, applications are in January and the field school itself runs May to June.
Members of the UAAU have participated in the field schools listed below. These are not associated with the U of A, but transfer credits are available, you just need to make arrangements with the Faculty of Arts.
