President

Taydem LaRocque is the active president of the UAAU for the 2024/2025 academic year. She has been a member of the Alberta heritage scene since 2016, when she began volunteering at Fort Edmonton Park and has since volunteered for Lethbridge's Galt Museum and Archives/Fort Whoop-Up, and The Royal Alberta Museum Archaeology Department. Her area of interest is Public Archaeology, which she actively participates in through her role as secretary on the Archaeological Society of Alberta's Edmonton Center Board.
