Sophomores

The focus of the sophomore year program continues to further develop the skills introduced in freshman year with an extra focus on career exploration and post high school planning and preparation. We want our students to continue to develop academically and personally while beginning to think about what opportunities wait for them after high school. Some of the topics covered include:

• • Club & community service fair

  • PSAT Administration

  • Continued development of academic, personal and career related goals

  • Academic advisement and planning

  • Do What You Are career exploration program

  • Southern Connecticut College Fair at Webster Bank Arena

  • Freshman and Sophomore parent college information session

  • All students participate in an advisory program that meets throughout the school year and offers additional support in the area of academic success and school involvement

  • 2-3 credits of electives (may include a World Language)
