Juniors

The focus for juniors is to remain grounded in the core strands of acadmic, social/emotional and career development, while also shifting towards post high school planning. In order to assist our students in preparing for entrance into a competitive 21st century career, we strongly encourage continued education and provide opportunities that assist in the achievement of that goal. Some of the topics covered include:

• • College and Career Center orientation

  • College search through Naviance 

  • PSAT Administration

  • Financial Aid Night 

  • Junior Post High School Planning Presentation  

• • Individual/Family Post High School Planning meeting

  • Academic advisement and planning 

  • Southern Connecticut College Fair at Webster Bank Arena 

  • All students participate in an advisory program that meets throughout the school year and offers additional support in the area of academic success and school involvement
