The boy scouts of troop 1130 set out on yet another high adventure trip this time accompanied by crew 1130. Their adventures location was Florida sea base. Florida sea base is located on lower marathon key in Islamorada FL. the scouts and venture crew split up into two large sailing vessels that makes a total of four boats the jewel of Athena, silver crow, siesta, and the chanticleer each for a six day tour on the water surrounding the Florida keys. The night the scouts arrived they were immediately sent on the boats to spend the next few days at sea. The participants were graced with the beauty of a Florida key's sunset. The following days were filled with snorkeling, and sailing. Half way through the week the boats returned to sea base for a day filled with tubing, kayaking, small boat sailing, and volleyball. The scouts had a fantastic time at the midday and before they knew it they were back on the water for a few more days. The scouts had a great time at the end of tour luau in which each boat participated in a number of games to see who would eat first. All in all the scouts had a wonderful time. Many pictures were taken but I could only select a few for the write up please ask any participant for pictures.
