The Klondike derby is an annual event held at camp highroads Virginia with many scout groups competing in this event that has challenges such as scout knowledge, fire building, and knots and lashings and many more topics. The scouts pull a sled through the forest terrain of the are while earning gold nuggets for answering questions correctly. This is a fun event that is enjoyable to everyone who attends.
