Topeka Public School Parents as Teachers several different playtime weekly and give children the opportunity to play with other children as their parents model play and interact with other parents. All playgroups offer music, movements, stories, and art projects.Playgroups are offered at three locations. Our main office is located at the Quinton Heights Education Center(2331 SW Topeka Blvd) . We also offer playgroup at two other locations Topeka Public Schools Pine Ridge Partnership (1100 SE Highland Ave) and at the Avondale East Community NET center (455 SE Golf Blvd). We offer a Spanish only playgroup where only Spanish is spoken, a group for dad's only and a new baby playgroup for children Birth-age 1. An Evening Playgroup is also offered Tuesday at Quinton Heights.
Parents as Teachers follows the USD #501 class schedule and will not offer playgroups when classes are not in session for the district.
Playgroups are for families with young children birth-age 5 that live in the 501 school district.

Music and movement is offered Thursdays at Pine Ridge from 11:30am-1pm. This group is a great way to get your child up and moving! Playgroup time is spent singing and dancing to the music
Gross Motor Playgroup
Gross Motor Playgroup is offered Mondays from 10-11am at Quinton Heights. When the weather is nice we go outside on the playground!
Bilingual Playgroup
This playgroup is offered weekly at the Quinton Heights , Thursdays from 10-11:30am. Spanish and English are both spoken at the this playgroup!
Dad's group
During the laid-back group playtime, fathers interact with their children and each other. Dad's group is held Thursday from 6-7:30 at Quinton Heights. Dinner is provided. Reservation required by noon on Thursday at 785-274-6480
