Green Schools
Sunflowers growing in our polytunnel.
For the next two years we will be working towards our next Green flag - Global Citizenship Energy.
We were delighted to receive our sixth Green flag for Global Citizenship - Litter & Waste at the Radisson Hotel, Letterkenny on May 9th 2023.
2023 - 2024
We have had a very successful and busy year this year. We have installed solar panels and are now able to see how much energy we are using daily.
With the help of Tom Evans, we planted some apple and pear trees. We hope to get successful crops in the coming year. Everyone in the school planted a sunflower and have taken them home to look after over the summer holidays.
We planted some lettuce, peas, potatoes, chives, turnip, strawberries and beans in our polytunnel.
