On behalf of the Board of Management and the Parents Association I want to take this opportunity to present the recent Whole School Evaluation Report to all our Parents and the wider school community.  The Board and Parents Association are delighted with the report and wish to congratulate the Principal and Staff who work so diligently on behalf of the pupils and to thank the pupils who were exemplary during the time the Cigire was in school.
There are many aspects of the report which are particularly worth noting, but chief among them is the fact that the pupils are working very hard and when asked, they reported that they feel safe in their class and that they benefit from very supportive relationships with their teachers.  The Report notes that the school is very active in the inclusion of children with Special Needs and reports that the progress of these pupils is very successful and that the Buddy-support and peer-tutoring initiatives are very supportive of all pupils’ learning across the school.
The involvement of parents and their support for the work of the school is highlighted and the Board takes this opportunity to thank the parents for their continued support and encourages all to get involved in the many worthwhile initiatives that are organised for the good of the pupils.
The Principal and Staff receive special mention for their on-going diligence and for the many initiatives they are involved in for the good of the pupils and the Board thanks them for their exceptional interest in all aspects of the school work.
