We are delighted to be part of the ASPIRE (Advancing Shared Partnerships through Inclusive Relationships in Education) initiative, supported by the PEACEPLUS Programme and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body. This exciting project promotes meaningful connections among children and young people from diverse backgrounds across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland.
Partnering with Scoil Treasa Naofa in Malin, our ASPIRE project involves 235 pupils, 20 teachers, and 13 Special Needs Assistants (SNAs). Guided by UNESCO’s Whole Education Approach and Ireland’s Wellbeing Policy Framework, the project is centered around the theme “Choose Respect”, with a strong focus on empathy, mindfulness, and well-being. Through reconciliation and peace-building activities, ASPIRE aims to create lasting benefits for our school community and beyond.
