The minimum requirement for your child's iPad is a 16GB iPad 3.

However, this model iPad is no longer available in the shops. If you already have one and want to pass it on to your child it is adequate.

At St Francis de Sales, we request that each student is supplied with an Apple iPad (WiFi only) as the minimum requirement. This is the current designated device of choice.

Parents are free to choose from new models eg. iPad Air - iPad Air 2 - iPad Mini 2 - iPad Mini 4 We support families making an informed choice for their child.

Devices are NOT to be connected to other wired, wireless or cellular networks whilst at school i.e. no SIM card. Each device will support the same applications and software although newer models offer greater storage (memory) and processing speed.
