Science Resources

    Our science curriculum is hands-on and designed to make science interactive and interesting! We follow the Science 21 Program which is aligned to our New York State Science Learning Standards.  We will engage in the following units: Unit 1: Forces and Interactions, Unit 2: Interdependent Relationships in Ecosystems, Unit 3: Weather and Climate, and Unit 4: Inheritance and Variation of Traits. Students will learn and use the scientific method to perform a variety of experiments and investigations throughout the year. In addition to science lessons within the classroom, students will go to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) once a week where they will also be involved in lessons, experiments, and investigations with our STEM teacher, Mrs. Scoralick and myself to develop and enchance their science, technology, engineering, and math skills.
