Welcome Mrs. Stout & Miss Bruno's Class of 2026-2027!

                          Welcome to Our Helping Hands Class 

Dear Third Grader and Family,

   We hope you have a wonderful summer and that you are starting to look forward to third grade.  We are sure you will have lots of fun! We are very excited to meet each of you. Get ready for a fun-filled year of learning! We look forward to welcoming you and your family into our Helping Hands class in the fall.

      Below are the supplies that you will need to get ready for a great year. Please make sure everything you bring is clearly labeled with your name.  Please label your folders in the top right hand corner with your first and last name. Thank you!

Supplies:

• a small standard plastic pencil box to hold supplies (small enough to fit in your desk please)

• 1 package of sharpened pencils (labeled with your name or a sticker so you know it is yours)

• 1 personal pencil sharpener 

• 5   2-pocket folders (plastic folders hold up the best) (green - Science, red- Social Studies, blue- Math, yellow-Language Arts, purple - Writing) * Colors help us organize.

• 1 marble notebook (any color is fine)

• a small box of 24 crayons  

• a pair of scissors

• a pack of pencil-top erasers  

• 1 three ring binder (1 inch please)

• 1 package of 3 ring binder dividers with 8 tabs please- You can usually find these cheap at “dollar” stores.

• 2 glue sticks

•  headphones to use when working on the Chromebooks

• 1 package of loose leaf paper (Please put half in your binder & keep half at home.)

Optional Classroom Wish List Items: Tissues, paper towels, disinfectant wipes, extra pencils, and glue sticks are always helpful and appreciated, but of course never expected.

            We hope you enjoy your summer. May it be full of fun and adventure! We have a busy and exciting year ahead. Please memorize all of your addition and subtraction facts and enjoy reading lots of great books or magazines over the summer.  Remember to bring a healthy snack and a reusable water bottle with a secure, leak proof lid to school each day please. We are looking forward to a fantastic school year with you!
