Courses offered by the Department of Built Environment appeal to creative people with an interest in improving living conditions, urban developments, construction and environmentally friendly design.
ARCHITECTURE
This course covers the design of buildings, the technical aspects of building construction, how architecture relates to people and how they live, and the communication of architectural ideas. Students may use the knowledge gained in this course to seek employment within the architectural profession or building industry or continue study to complete the Master of Architecture and meet the requirements for registration as an architect.
