2019-2020 School Year: Art Enrichment has been discontinued.
From Fall 2015 to Spring 2019 Students who were in the Gifted and Talented Program come on Monday or Wednesday afternoon for an extra art class called Art Enrichment.
We work on creating art projects connected to art history and different cultures outside of the art projects they do when they come with their regular class on Monday or Wednesday.
Self-Portrait Texture Collage:
Students created different textures using paper texture rollers and texture plates. Then they created a half self-portrait. Students created designs inside of the names of their name, and create other small drawings. Everything was collaged together on canvas board, and covered in a gloss coating.

Concentric Circles Painting:
The first project of the year we will be doing in Art Enrichment is looking at Wassily Kandinsky's Squares with Concentric Circles from 1913. We are going to take this idea and create our own Circle and Square painting using Primary colors, Secondary Colors, or Complementary colors.
