Students at both Liberty and Trout have gotten to participation is Art Madness. I created a bracket of artwork for the students to learn and vote on. Students fill out packets on information about the artwork, such as Comparing and Contrasting them, or listing what they see in the artworks, or writing about why they voted for the artwork they did. Students learned not only about the artwork but the artists that created them. Along with practicing writing and vocabulary they practice their fine motor skills of staying inside the lines coloring the famous artworks.
