Update from the Church of England: Opening Churches for personal private prayer

Please see the statement from the Church of England and the Diocese of Chelmsford on opening churches for personal private prayer here. Churches remain closed for public worship.

St Mary's will be open for personal prayer this Wednesday 12-8pm. Everyone attending for personal prayer will be asked to used hand sanitiser, maintain social distance and follow directions through the building. We regret that our toilets will not be open and there will be no refreshments. Our church bibles will not be available, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please let us know if you have any questions.

PCC (Church Council) have met and agreed to not open on a Sunday for public worship before August 30th. Please read the full statement from Rev Katie Miller here.

Our services are live streamed on our Facebook page every Sunday and Wednesday at 11am and uploaded to our YouTube channel. The Bible readings of the gospels will be uploaded daily.
