Welcome to St. Mary’s, Church of England
We welcome all people to come and worship God in this church.
Marriage is a very happy time and a huge commitment which couples make to each other.
At St. Mary’s we want to reflect the teaching of Jesus regarding marriage and encourage all those who are considering entering into it.
St. Mary’s works with couples to prepare for this important moment in their lives.
In order to do this would we like to make you aware of the following:
All couples need to either live in the parish or have a family link with the parish.
attend either a wedding preparation course or a discipleship course
attend St. Mary’s church for a period of time.
Please note: non British couples will need to have relevant documentation to obtain a special license. The Vicar will give you the details of this.
