St. Mary's Church

Welcome – St. Mary’s is a lively, family friendly church; seeking to make Jesus known in Becontree. You can find us on Grafton Road. Please take time to explore our website and find out more about who we are.

Our services are Sundays at 9.30am Morning Prayer (Communion on 2nd Sunday) and 11.00am Family Worship (Communion on 1st Sunday, All Age Service on 3rd Sunday). More information can be found on the menu above or here.

We renewed our personal commitment to God in key areas of discipleship, the Rule of Life, on Sunday 1st September 2024. The areas are Time with God, Service, Witness, Giving, Growing in Faith and Creation Care.  Further information on the Rule of Life can by found by clicking here or on the menu above.  

We are working on a devised community theatre production, Let My People Go, based on the Book of Exodus. Drama practice Sundays 2-4pm in church. More information here or email church@stmarysbecontree.org.uk 

St Mary's Toddlers  Fridays 8.45-11.30am in the Church Hall (term time).  A drop in parent and toddler group with activities, music, books, play, conversation and a cuppa, £2 per family, all welcome.
