October is Cybersecurity Month : Secure Our World
Cybersecurity Awareness Month is celebrated every October to remind us that with a little prep, we can all be safer online, keep our digital assets secure and ultimately help Secure Our World.
According to the Identity Theft Resource Center, there were 2,365 cyberattacks in the U.S. in 2023, compared to more than 800,000 attacks globally that occur each year, according to Security Magazine. 2023 also saw a 72% increase in U.S. data breaches compared to 2021, which held the previous record. Cybersecurity doesn’t have to be intimidating, and it’s something that everyone can do to protect themselves, their family, and their place of business.
