How To Use Company Portal To Install Applications With Microsoft Intune
OIT has migrated our primary method for providing applications to Microsoft Intune, the platform OIT uses for mobile device management. Previously, OIT used Software Center through SCCM to deliver applications. We are now using Company Portal, which functions just like Software Center, but is designed for the cloud and does not require VPN (only an internet connection).
Company Portal is an application automatically installed on all State of Colorado computer systems and fully integrated into the state’s cloud-based computer management. When installing applications through the Company Portal, users do not need to be on VPN, and their downloads are delivered by Microsoft over any active internet connection.
