Google Meet: Continue Your Conversations in Google Chat
With continuous meeting chat, you can send messages to meeting participants before, during and after a meeting in Google Chat.
Organize meeting conversations in Google Chat: Your meeting conversations are automatically added to a dedicated “Meeting” section.
Chats in Meet are direct messages and are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Turn continuous meeting chat off: These are on by default. If you're the meeting host and want to turn off continuous meeting chat, you can edit video call options in the Calendar event. After the meeting begins, this setting can't be changed.
