Friday, September 12: Read pp 440-bottom of 444 , Figures of Speech, define terms in notes
Monday, September 15: Read Tone p448-456, answer Question 5 for "Museum Piece", Question 3 for "Hay for Horses", and Read “Symbols and Allusion” 457-461
Tuesday, September 16: Take notes over Meter and Rhyme: 481-494, write out two lines from “Richard II” (p 488) and “To the Western World” (p489) and do scansion on them. Be ready for a quiz over meter and rhyme terms and scansion and poetry terms on Thursday!

Tuesday, September 23: Read “Narrative, Epic, Dramatic” p 501-502 and My Last Duchess p573-574 and answer the following questions in regard to the poem.
1. Describe the person speaking in the poem.
