The Training Event Cost is $100 and the cost to attend the Red Sox game is $31. These are TWO different expenses for this event and monies must be separate.

What to Expect
Physically demanding experience including extensive standing, walking around town, and shipboard drills require strength and stamina. Cadets with physical challenges, injuries, fear of closed spaces will struggle and should consult the event COTC if in doubt.
Sat 9/4 - 1100 arrive at the USS CONSTITUTION; Museum tour, Boston historical sites, join crew on standard ship drills, evening colors. Sleep overnight on the ship (expect to be on the hard floor berthing deck), assigned speeches.
Sun 9/5 - Depart the ship, walk Boston's Heritage Trail, 1300 Red Sox game, Color Guard duty, historical sites, assigned speeches, check into Omni Parker House hotel. (Note: You will not have a chance to shower until you reach the hotel the evening of Day 2.)
Mon 9/6 - Breakfast, Closing Remarks
Mon 9/6 - Depart Boston on your mode of travel no earlier than 1300 (we are done at 1100)

COVID DISCLAIMER
Following USNSCC guidelines, MA policy, and CDC recommendations, this is how this training is addressing COVID concerns.
EFFECITVE July 30, 2021 the City of Boston has instituted a mask mandate for all INDOOR spaces whether vaccinated or not.
Vaccinated persons are not required to wear a mask outdoors, they are optional. (Defined as fully vaccinated no less than 14 days prior, proof of vaccination exists in training jacket and notated on medical history form.)
Unvaccinated persons are not required to wear a mask if outdoors, well ventilated, and maintaining social distancing. They will wear masks if indoors or outside where social distancing cannot be maintained.
If persons are sick they should stay home. If they become sick, they will be separated from everyone else and may have to be picked up by a family member. If we take them to a local clinic or hospital for any reason, the cadet's insurance card will be brought with them.

Review the Seabag List. Order your PT Uniform (if you haven't already) and assemble all other gear in coordination with your home unit. You may contact the COTC with any specific questions about items on the list / not on the list.
Ensure you bring your training/service jacket and include the following required forms:
Signed NSCTNG 001 Request for Training Authority with CO endorsement
Updated Medical History form within 30 days of training
Copy of completed Medications form NSCADM 001 (Page 7/8)
Copy of completed ADA Accommodation form NSCADM 001 (Page 9/10) (if applicable)
Copy of Cadet/Family health insurance card

Muster at the CONSTITUTION Visitor Center by 1100 in NWU's.
If using public or commercial transportation, by regulation Sea Cadets are not authorized to travel in uniform, so you may report for training in civilian clothes and change at arrival/check-in.
Traveling by Rail - Arrive and depart Boston South Station (from points west and south) or Boston North Station (from points north).
Air - Arrival and departure is Boston Logan International Airport. Suggested landing time is between 0500 and 1000. Depart Boston via your mode of travel no earlier than 1300 (we are done at 1100).
Drop off or parking address is 88 Constitution Road, Boston, MA (no Navy Yard parking unless you are Staff, then send vehicle info to COTC before training).
Submit flight/train info via this hyperlink if you require to be picked up and dropped off.
Travel providers will likely require travelers to be masked during transit.
