What to Expect

Physically demanding experience including extensive standing, walking, and shipboard drills which require strength and stamina. Cadets with physical challenges, injuries, fear of closed spaces, or will have a problem going up/down small ladder wells will struggle and should consult the event COTC if in doubt.

ALL CADETS WILL GIVE A SPEECH: Every participant will be giving a 5-minute talk about a Navy Chief who was also a Medal of Honor recipient. Speeches will include a 1-2 minute biography about the individual, 1-2 minute talk about what significant role they played, and a 1 minute summary (remember, “tell ‘em what you’re going to tell ‘em, tell ‘em, and tell ‘em what you told ‘em”).
