This week we will have our usual 5 question vocabulary quiz on Friday. I have attached a copy of the words here. On Monday I will send home a copy of the words with your scientists.

Evaporation: When a liquid becomes a gas due to an increase in heat and molecule movement.

Physical State: A physical property describing the condition of the object; solid, liquid, and gas.

Melting Point: The temperature at which an object changes from a solid to a liquid. For pure water, this occurs at 0 degrees Celsius.

Freezing Point: the temperature at which an object changes from a liquid to a solid. For pure water, this occurs at 0 degrees Celsius.

Boiling Point: The temperature at which an object changes from a liquid to a gas. For pure water, this occurs at 100 degrees Celsius.
