We will be focusing on light energy all week!

Light Energy: a form of light that can be seen, travels in a straight line until it strikes an object or travels through one medium to another, and can be:

• • reflected ( bounced off of a shiny surface like a mirror, something shiny, or something brightly colored such as white or yellow)

• • refracted ( when light energy bends, and looks broken. This happens because light energy has to slow down as it enters a solid like glass, or a liquid like water or oil. Light travels SUPER FAST through air!)
