Welcome to the Seward High School Bands homepage! The band program at Seward High School is designed to provide students with a comprehensive music education as they participate in performing ensembles. The core of the program is the Symphonic Band. From this, there are several other ensembles: Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Pep Band, and small ensembles. Involvement in these ensembles will enrich the development of fundamental music skills, increase musical knowledge through critical thinking, enhance the aesthetic values in music, and develop social skills (team work, leadership, self-discipline, and responsibility). The Seward High School Bands will perform in various musical styles and genres throughout the year.
