A good rehearsal is structured as follows:
1) A warm-up of about 1/5 the total rehearsal time
2) Skill-building in note reading, rhythm reading and sight-reading
3) Learning new music (or sections of music)
4) Reviewing previously-learned music
5) Measuring how well you have learned the music and skills in the class (assessment)
