Description: Grades 9-12
Rock Band is a course for instrumentalists (including vocalists, guitarists, bassists, drummers, horns, and pianists) with an interest in the performance of rock and pop music styles. Musicians are expected to practice individually, attend sectional rehearsals, and perform at concerts and civic events to fulfill their requirements for the course; additional independent study options, are also available for course credit. Attendance at all performances is a requirement in order to receive credit for the course.
PREREQUISITE: One year of concert band membership or with director's permission.
This is NOT a course for beginners - Please take "Intro to Rock first", students must be able to read music.

Students must also provide really cool outfits, simply because you "Rock".
