I love music; however, the most important to me is the sharing of my love for music with others. I understand that many of my students may not go on to be professional musicians, but hopefully, I can help guide them toward the enjoyment music can bring into their lives.
Biography
Gary Fuller is a veteran music educator, U.S. Army Bandsman, and accomplished studio drummer with a career spanning more than four decades.
For the past 18 years, Gary has taught music in Maine and currently serves on the faculty at Oak Hill High School, where he continues to inspire and develop young musicians. Prior to his work in education, Gary proudly served for 18 years as a U.S. Army/National Guard Bandsman, performing as a percussionist within the long-standing and respected tradition of military music.
Beyond the classroom, Gary has maintained an active and diverse performance career. Over the last 46 years, he has directed numerous theatrical productions and performed in countless pit orchestras, bringing live music to the stage across a wide range of genres. He is also an experienced studio drummer, contributing to a variety of recording projects.
Gary is a graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA), where he earned a degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Performance, Jazz, and Contemporary Music.
