Description: Grades 9-12
Piano course is for any student interested in learning to play the piano. All students will learn to read music and learn the basics of music theory; every student will progress in piano technique, moving independently of other classmates. Therefore, this course is suitable for outright beginners and advanced pianists alike. For practice purposes, ownership of a piano or, at minimum, a 61-key keyboard is required. Students may take this class as often as desired, continually progressing through more advanced levels of piano technique and literature. Students taking advanced levels will receive 30-level credits.
