Career Cruising was designed with one goal in mind: to help students plan for their future. The online software includes a number of tools for our students to use including assessments, college/university searches, career searches, and employment tools. This website helps students with the career exploration process. Students can make use of the free self-assessment software for career exploration, or they can look up occupation profiles by plugging in job titles they are interested in to collect information. Texas CARES provides a vast amount of labor market statistics and information about students’ careers of interest, including the education and/or training or certifications one would be required to attain in order to work in each occupation. Students can then explore education or training options for in-depth information about colleges and universities across the nation.
