- Soft skills
- Business and industry training needs
- Provide teacher externships
Recommend program improvements:
- Tour program areas
- Evaluate equipment and facilities
- Evaluate curriculum content for entry-level job skills needed in business/industry
- Make suggestions for “real world” project based learning
Assist in communication:
- Promote public relations and publicity relative to program area
- Inform the school of the needs of industry and inform industry of the services the school can provide
Assist in placing students and with enrichment activities:
- Internships
- Mentorships
- Job shadowing
- Real-world project design
- Guest speakers
- Project judges
- Mock interviews
