13 Dramatic Arts

In this UE master class of Drama, ākonga are expected to develop a portfolio of work to a level of public performance quality. Ākonga will learn a variety of modern Drama skills and techniques including that of naturalism and realism. The course will also include visits to theatre performances outside of the classroom in order to develop critical response to Drama and Theatre. Ākonga taking this course need to work as part of a team and be prepared to complete some evening and weekend production work. 

Note: while this is an internals-only course, there are four optional credits for ākonga who wish to sit the external examination.
