8th Grade

8th grade students will continue to build on the skills learned in 6th and 7th grade. They will work to refine tone quality and intonation, will play more independent parts within music, and will learn and perform more complex rhythms. 8th graders have the opportunity to participate in All-County Band, Honor Band, and the Morehead High School Marching Band. Students will perform concerts in December and May.
