6th Grade

In 6th grade, students will learn everything they need to know about playing an instrument (instrument assembly, hand position, sound production, etc.) They will also learn to read music and play notes, short songs and eventually concert pieces. 6th graders present concerts in December and May.

At first, you must start on flute, clarinet, trumpet or trombone. As the year progresses, we add instruments such as saxophone, drums/percussion, tuba, baritone, bass clarinet and French horn.
