Families Experiencing Transition & Homelessness

The Riverton School District ensures that children experiencing homelessness can enroll and succeed in school. These children and their families receive the educational services for which they are eligible.

Federal and State Laws protecting the educational opportunities of children facing homelessness may also apply to families in transitional living situations, such as staying with friends or relatives, a result of an eviction, job loss, etc.
