Dr. Lorna Sullivan, CST Supervisor / School Psychologist
The School Psychologist has expertise in determining a child's level of cognitive development. In addition, the School Psychologist is concerned with the emotional health of the student and how both internal and external factors may affect a student's behavior and performance at school. The School Psychologist works with both the Special Education and General Education teachers to maximize the student's potential.
Ms. Elizabeth Odd, School Social Worker
The School Social Worker is a resource and liaison between home, school and the community. The School Social Worker gathers information concerning the student's health and development, family and educational history as it pertains to the student's functioning in school. The School Social Worker identifies how both internal and external factors affect a student's emotional functioning and well-being. The School Social Worker also acts as a community resource liaison on behalf of students and their families.
Mrs. Cathryn Browning, Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant
The LDTC is trained to assess the learning styles of students to determine academic achievement levels. The LDTC provides recommendations such as specific teaching methods and strategies that may be beneficial to a student.
