Washing Your Hands!

Did you know that:

Germs can be any where.

Germs are so small you need a Microscope to see them.

When germs get in your body they make you feel sick.

SOAP and WATER will KILL the germs.

You should wash your hands after going to the bathroom, after playing inside & outside, before & after you eat, and

if you have been around someone who is sick.

Remember to cough or sneeze into the elbow or a tissue.

Throw the tissue away after you cough, sneeze, or blow

your nose.

1. Turn on warm water.

2. Put soap on both sides of your hands, between your fingers, and around your your nails.

3. Time to sing the ABC's two times or the Happy Birthday as you wash your hands. You should wash your hands for about 20-40 seconds.

4. Rinse your hands and make sure all the soap is rinsed off, then turn the water off with a paper towel (if available).

5. Dry your hands with a paper towel or air dryer.

Now, go and practice washing your hands and sing like you are performing in front of the entire school! Be creative and get rid of the pesky germs!
