P6 Maisy Chow

All of the participated countries shared their traditional food with the others. I tried a lot of different food too. I did not really like all of them, but still, I learned a lot about other countries’ food culture through this Fun Market in the evening time.

今天抵達奧爾堡。我初到貴境，難免有丁點緊張。我年齡尚小，因此心裏有一點不敢主動認識其他人的恐懼，面對陌生人時，我總有一種卻步的恐懼。

來到此寒冷之地時，我們四個準中一生在第二天負責帶路前往哥本哈根動物園。不幸的是，那部「全球定位系統接收器」耗盡電源，我們只能依靠早前在香港已準備好的資料找路。雖然難度提升了很多，但我們最終在路人的協助下，完成了我們的任務。

Each country was divided into different groups. My group presented their presentation very well. They were marvelous. Our group had received a great applause too. I think I presented loudly to the audience. I will keep this in the next presentation. However, as I observed, cue cards are not very common in the other countries. They can recite their scripts and were looking at us all the time while they were presenting.

我在會議裏學到了各種關於可再生能源的知識，例如風力發電，潮汐能。我們要善用地球上的資源，不可浪費，否則資源就會被用光了。

在社交方面，我獲益良多。在結交朋友時候，同時也考驗着自己的英文能力、社交能力和勇氣。在這三方面，我也看到自己進步了不少。

We went to see the tidal power. It was a really big device used to provide tidal power. This is my first time to see this kind of device. I think it is also the reason that we can’t apply this renewable energy in Hong Kong due to its large size.

參加完這個會議後，我的期望達成了，我的自信心好像真的大了，大家也覺得我有所進步。我發現只要自己願意跟別人說話，別人並不會介意，那自己又為何要介意？與會期間我也敢於逗逗別人，嘗試和別人聊天。其實外國人說話都很幽默，和他們說話是很開心的事。

從第一次看見宣傳片時，我已開始憧憬CEI。中一的時候並沒有想過參加，是因為認為自己的應該很困難去入選。

之後，到了中二。某程度上我也只是抱着一種一試無妨的心態。

然後，彷彿是奇蹟一般，我入選了。

這樣一個我，似乎在誤打誤撞下，走進了一條正確的道路。

也許是不捨，也許是開心。終於到達了會議的最後一天。時光總不留人，有點後悔，沒有認識更多朋友。有點滿足，受到其他學校的熱情招待。

來了第一次，才知道交朋友是愉快和輕鬆的。交流和溝通是來到丹麥最要的任務，我也相信自己做到了。那幾天裏一起瘋的日子是不捨的，因為不是每個人都有這種福份，這令我更為珍惜。

總括來說，九個月來的努力也沒有白費，這一趟也是值得的。大家研究的成果終於公諸於世。這時的我，充滿着對下年的希望。

This is my second time to join this conference. I wish to learn from this year CEI theme: sustainable society. I hope that I would be much environmentally friendly. And hopefully I can influence my friends, my family members to become caretakers, to work together and get a step further to protect our planet and create a sustainable society.

今年的環保會議令我非常滿足，非常高興，因為我今年也不再只是一個組員的身份，更有一份作為組長的責任，帶領了我的組員進行匯報，沒有白費一年來的心血。另外，我自覺也能夠幫助一些同學結識新朋友，鼓勵他們多與外國人說話，帶他們跟我一起坐在外國朋友之間。作為一個組長，能夠幫助一些較被動的同學，我自己也很滿足。

I know a lot more about what a sustainable society requires and how powerful it is. For example, in Denmark, about 30% of the energy comes from renewable energy. There are many machines and plants that generate electricity by vary natural resources. Have you ever thought that burning the wood pieces can be renewable? Moreover, it’s hard to see rubbish on the streets in Denmark, it’s because the environmental policy in Denmark is really well. For example, after you have finished drinking a bottle drink, you can return the empty bottle into a machine in supermarkets for refund, and this motivates people to be green.

S4 Pakco Chow

This year is my first year to join CEI, I am glad that I can be one of the members. I quitted last year as I was not willing to spend my holiday in school. However, I put lot of effort this year and finally become one of the members. I understand that a lot of effort is required. If no effort is given, it is impossible to be one of the members in the team.

今天我們參觀了不同的可再生能源設施。丹麥作為使用再生能源科技的尖端，超過三成電力也是透過風力發電機產生，比較世界各地甚至香港只有南丫島一個風力發電機，可再生能源對環境產生較少污染。今天的參觀活動中我們探索了兩個在香港尚未實行的再生產電的系統──生物能和潮汐能，相信對香港未來的城市規劃是個好的參考。
